Such a hack!! It's very much a lightweight consistency like an essence, and melts pretty seamlessly into the skin. I use it first then wait a bit to add any lotion. I got the light medium bottle & gives me a beautiful light natural looking tan which is exactly what I'm looking for. It also smells amazing just like their other products (I also have the vanilla verve hand lotion and the sandal gel deodorant). Gifted by Cyklar.

I really enjoyed trying the Cyklar Self-Tanning Milky Essence in Light Medium. The milky texture feels lightweight and comfortable on my skin, making it easy to apply and blend evenly. I love that it gives my skin a more warm, natural-looking glow without making it feel heavy or sticky. The scent is also pleasant and makes the application feel more enjoyable. After using it, I noticed my skin looked more radiant and had a beautiful sun-kissed appearance. I recommend applying it evenly on clean, dry skin and blending carefully around areas like the elbows, knees and ankles for a smoother result. I also like that the finish looks natural rather than too dark. complimentary from cyklar. I’m naturally pretty fair, so I’m always a little nervous trying a medium-dark self tanner, but I’m SO happy with the color this gives me! I love that there’s no rinse-off step. I can apply it after my shower, go about my day, and let the tan develop. It does have that typical self-tanner smell, but once I shower, it completely goes away!
