Soap on a Rope Key Ingredients
This bar soap has both physical and chemical exfoliants to buff away dead skin cells—but thanks to gentle surfactants and nourishing skincare ingredients, it never feels stripping.
SYNDET SURFACTANTS: Gentle cleansing agents that effectively remove dirt, oil, and buildup without stripping skin of moisture.
VOLCANIC PUMICE: Provides physical exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and buildup.
AHA COMPLEX: Malic, glycolic, and mandelic acids improve skin tone and refine texture.
PHA: Gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, provides gentle chemical exfoliation while hydrating.
GLYCERIN: Retains moisture and softens skin.
The Fragrance-Rich Shower Experience
Soap on a Rope comes in three CYKLAR fragrances: Bergamot Bond, Cedar Supreme, and Lover’s Leather. The bar has the power to scent your whole shower, even when it’s not in use—when you hang it to dry, the scent will start to diffuse throughout the room.
Bergamot Bond is bright and zesty, yet warm, calming and skin-like. Top notes of bergamot and lavender are grounded by a base of skin musk, cashmere woods, and amber for a fragrance that’s both invigorating and soothing.
Cedar Supreme is sensual, rich, and sophisticated: A captivating tension of crisp, aromatic freshness and enveloping warmth designed to stimulate the senses. Top notes of bergamot and artemisia make a bright and airy first impression, softened by floral heart notes of lavender and labdanum.
Lover’s Leather is sexy and familiar. Spicy and addictive. Both deep and layered, it’s a sensual and earthy fragrance that leaves a mysterious and enduring impression.
How to Use Soap on a Rope
You can use Soap on a Rope like you would any other bar soap: Massage onto wet skin and work into a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly. When you’re done, use the rope to hang it to dry.
The Soap on a Rope Shower Routine
You can use Soap on a Rope every day—it’s a multi-tasking step that accomplishes both cleansing and gentle exfoliation at once. You can use it as a standalone shower cleansing step, of course, but we love to layer it with Sensorial Body Wash and In-Shower Body Oil Balm:
- Step one: Exfoliate and cleanse with Soap on a Rope.
- Step two: For a second cleanse, hydration beyond the shower, and an added layer of fragrance, lather on Sensorial Body Wash.
- Step 3: Moisturize with In-Shower Body Oil Balm.
