As a trainer, movement is non-negotiable. And during busy seasons like the spring, it’s important to have a routine that manages stress and supports muscle recovery. This brings me to my favorite new wellness tool: The Body Toning Cup.

What is a Body Toning Cup?
The Body Toning Cup is a silicone tool that helps firm, tone, boost local circulation, and encourage lymphatic drainage. Aka: My new best friend. So how does it work—and does it actually work? I put it to the test.
The cup creates light suction when placed on the body, drawing in the skin and underlying tissues, and increases local blood flow. By moving it in circular motions along your thighs, abdomen, neck, and back, you can create a lymphatic drainage effect that helps firm, tone, and improve local circulation.
Can You Practice Lymphatic Drainage on Yourself?
Yes, you can practice lymphatic drainage massages on yourself from home. I do this on myself after a heavy leg day or intense workout to help remove the lactic acid in my muscles and reduce tightness and recovery time.
While exercise is amazing, it creates stress on the body, so it’s important to manage that intensity with routines that take your nervous system into consideration. I pair my body cupping massage with deep breathing (this stimulates the lymphatic system), calming music, and of course my Naked Neroli Body Wash that smells like warm orange blossom and sandalwood and feels so nourishing and cleansing on my body. The Body Toning Cup is best used in the shower or bath using a rich lather of Cyklar’s oil-infused body wash so the cup can easily glide along your skin. You simply squeeze the cup and place it on your desired soapy area until it starts to suction your skin. Proceed to then move the cup in circular motions, keeping the contact with your skin. It’s easy to use, feels really good, and you will feel sculpted and snatched in minutes…nothing further.
So grab Body Toning Cup and let’s do this together:
How to Use a Body Toning Cup:
Body Cupping the Neck/Shoulders
Create suction by adding pressure to The Body Toning Cup on the upper outside of your neck and create circles up and down, getting into your traps, upper back, and upper chest.
Body Cupping the Back
Create suction by adding pressure to The Body Toning Cup your upper back moving in circles towards your mid-back and lower back creating circles down to your glutes.
Body Cupping the Legs
To body cup your legs, start on your thigh closest to your knee and move in circles pulling upwards toward your hips and torso.
I’m happy to report that Cyklar's Body Toning Cup WORKS. Like any wellness practice, the more consistent you are, the better the outcome. The good news is, it’s lightweight and easy to transport so you can maintain your routine wherever you go. I already have mine packed in my suitcase for my summer travels. A martini has got nothing on me this year.
